Raw Food Workshop

"Let your food be your medicine, and your medicine be your food." ~ Hippocrates

Fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants, nutrients, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, proteins and healthy fats – these are all nature’s compounds that keep us well.
They are alkalising to the body – balancing the acidity which often leads to health problems.
Cooking damages or destroys these nutrients so the body doesn’t benefit as much. By switching to a raw food diet you will immediately feel the difference, and with all those radiant colours, you know your food will always look beautiful and appetising!
There are many health benefits experienced by followers of a raw food diet, including:

  • more energy
  • skin has a much better appearance
  • improved digestion
  • weight loss
  • reduced risk of heart and cardiovascular diseases

Positive affirmations

Positive affirmations can help you change your unconscious beliefs. Repeat regularly! By changing your thoughts about yourself, food, or your body you can shift your mindset and levels of happiness! You could even write them out and stick them in places you’ll see them – like the bathroom mirror, the fridge, the inside of your front door, or in your car – reminding yourself all the time how perfect and wonderful you are! Here are some examples:

  • ‘I love and respect my body’
  • ‘I eat food because it is nurturing and healing’
  • ‘I am worth the time and money I invest in my health’
  • ‘I am learning new things that heal my body one step at a time’
  • ‘I am willing to slow down and take this time to nourish myself’
  • ‘I feel amazing when I take care of myself’
  • ‘I accept my body as it is’
  • ‘I am beautiful and confident, and I am comfortable in my own skin’
